Practice Policies
The swim season runs from the middle of May until the end of July. Practices are held after school on Monday through Thursday (see Practice Schedule for specific times). There will be no practice on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or any day when we have a meet. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.
What to expect during practice
Swimmers are grouped with other swimmers their age.
If you have schedule conflict, please talk to Head Coach to help find possible assistance or a solution.
Swimmers will engage in activities as designed by the Coaches to help strengthen their abilities. Practice is not mandatory, but the more a swimmer attends, the better chance of improving their strokes.
Please be on time for practice. Swimmers should be ready to enter the water. This includes having a practice suit and goggles on and bathroom business completed. There is a water fountain at the pool but please send a water bottle with your swimmer. Swimmers still need to stay hydrated.
