🐬Meet #6: Our FINAL meet is AWAY at Black Horse Run on Tuesday, July 15th. Please plan to arrive by 5:15 at the latest, so swimmers can be ready with numbers on their arms for warm-ups right at 5:30.

Pool Address: 11701 Black Horse Run, Raleigh, NC 27613. The road dead-ends at a “T” intersection—the clubhouse will be directly in front of you, with the pool just behind it. We can park in the lot behind and beside the clubhouse. They ask us not to park in the spots coned off near the diving blocks (right side of clubhouse)—this area is reserved as overflow seating and tent space for both teams.

Seating: Visiting team seating is on the far side of the pool near the restrooms. There is a covered shelter with fans reserved for us. Look for the BBW banner and please bring your own chairs–they remove all pool furniture for a meet.

Concessions: They offer burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, candy, ice cream, drinks, and more inside their clubhouse. Cash and cards accepted.

Timing: They use the time drops system and have a 6 lane pool. Time drops provides a unique code for each meet so parents can see their children’s results throughout the meet. Volunteers: Please review the jobs you have signed up for. There will be a volunteer meeting before the start of the meet at 5:40.

6 & Unders: 6 and Unders do not swim butterfly, so they are free to leave after they finish swimming breaststroke, however, there will be a treat race after breaststroke for any 6 and unders that are interested in trying butterfly! Please check with Coach Ben before leaving to make sure your swimmer is not swimming in the final relay before you leave.

Parent/Coach Relay: They have a parent/coach relay after the treat race (not at the end of the meet). If you are interested in swimming for the relay, please let Coach Ben know!

Not Attending List: The following families have marked themselves “not attending” this meet. If this information is incorrect or if your child gets sick the day of the meet or something else comes up, please let us know ASAP: Coach Ben @ 919-889-4232 or Jill @ 757-580-4021. Coach Ben sets the lineup on Sundays and it’s really, really hard to make day-of-meet changes!

🐬We will have practice on Monday and the meet Tuesday, but that will be it as far as practices and meets for the 2025 Summer Season!

🐬We will be celebrating our swimmers and families at our End of Season Party on Friday, July 18th from 6-8pm at the Pointe at Falls Lake Pool.

The address to the pool is: 12501 Waterman Dr.

Coaches will be distributing medals and trophies, and we have small goodie bags for the kids including a copy of the team picture! We will be ordering pizza for everyone and ask that you bring a dessert to share, if you are able. PLEASE RSVP on SwimTopia by Thursday afternoon so we can get an idea of how much pizza to order! Please also consider bringing your own chairs as they may not have enough for all of us to utilize.

🐬 TSA Championship Families–I sent an email out last week with an attached document containing a waiver that needs to be completed and more detailed information regarding the meet. Please be sure to review that email. If you did not receive it, please let me know ASAP!

We appreciate any feedback you are willing to provide regarding any aspect of the summer season, including but not limited to, coaching, management, communication, volunteering, social events, practices, and meets.
