🐬 We may have lost in points last night, but we WON in effort and team spirit! The final score was Wendell Waves 348–BBW/HL 148. We are SO proud of ALL of our swimmers—from our youngest all the way up to our Coaches! Everyone swam their best and gave Wendell some awesome competition! Way to go TEAM! It was also fun continuing the celebration of our Team at Brewster’s afterward! Check out some great photos and videos on our Dolphins FB page!

🐬An extra thanks to all of our families that made it out to Wendell despite the past-their-bedtimes long drive, first days of school, and hours after a long day of work! We appreciate you! Thank you also to those of you that volunteered, and those that stepped up and covered our open volunteer positions! We really cannot express how thankful we are for all of you!

🐬 Shout out to the 11/12 Medley Relay vs. Planter’s Walk last week! The girls–Leilani, Hailey G., Callie C., and Riley–broke a standing record from 2009! Way to Go, Girls!

🐬Last week of practices: This is our last week of practices! We hope to see all of our swimmers for these last few days in the water!

🐬It’s hard to believe it but our LAST meet is next week! We are at home vs. Zebulon on Tuesday, July 18th. If you haven't already done so, please check your swimmers' attendance and your volunteer assignment for the upcoming meet and make adjustments on SwimTopia as necessary.  As of right now, we are still in need of a Meet Maestro Assistant, Ribbon Counter, Stroke and Turn, and Timers. If you haven’t covered your 4-5 volunteer positions yet this season, please consider filling a spot since this is the last meet. It is really hard to change a meet lineup or get volunteers the day of the meet.

🐬TSA championship meet: Saturday, July 22nd at TAC (Triangle Aquatic Center). 10 & Unders compete in the morning and 11 & Ups in the afternoon. Anyone can attend! More information was sent home earlier this week via Swimtopia and is posted on our Dolphins FB page. Please email Lee Ellen by Friday, July 14th at [email protected] if your swimmer is interested.

🐬End of Season Party: Our end of season party will be on Friday, July 21st at Hunter’s Landing Pool from 6:30-8pm for ALL of our Dolphins! Bring your family’s dinner if you’d like, and a dessert to share with everyone. We’ll be handing out final ribbons, medals and trophies, paper plate awards, and have lots of time to swim and play all together for one last time this summer! Please RSVP in Swimtopia!
