Meet #3 Recap & Upcoming Practices & Luau Date

    Meet #3 Recap

Another WIN! Way to Go Dolphins! The final score was BBWHL 263, Raleigh Racquet 218! We know that the Meet seemed to be moving at a snail’s pace, but internet connection issues kept them from moving it along any faster. At least it was a DRY, beautiful evening for a meet! Thank you to everyone that volunteered last night and to all of our families for cheering our Dolphins on!

Reminder: There will be practice this Friday, June 30th in the morning. The times are as follows:

    7/8s @ 10:00-10:45

    6 & Unders @ 10:45-11:15

    9 & Ups @ 11:15-12:00

There will be NO practices on Monday, July 3rd or Tuesday, July 4th. If your swimmers will be around the water over the holiday weekend, please encourage them to swim some laps. 4-5 days out of the water is not helpful right before a meet!

Luau Date: The new Luau date is Thursday, July 6th from 6:00-8:30 pm. Practices that day will be condensed. Please confirm your RSVP in Swimtopia (on the mobile app>>view website>>three lines upper left corner>>volunteer signup calendar>>RSVP>>edit RSVP to attending or not attending). We really need to get a count of who will be attending so we have enough food. If you haven’t been to the Luau before, you are NOT going to want to miss the fun! We have fantastic games, music, free food (yummy pork tacos!) and snow cones, and some really awesome RAFFLE items! Be on the lookout for more information in Sunday’s message!

Our next meet is at HOME vs. Planter’s Walk on WEDNESDAY, JULY 5th. If you haven't already done so, please check your swimmers' attendance and your volunteer status for the upcoming meet and make adjustments on SwimTopia as necessary. We still have a few volunteer positions open and would love to get them filled as soon as possible! If your family has not yet covered your 4-5 volunteer spots, please consider filling in for Wednesday’s Meet.

Have a happy and safe Holiday weekend! As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know! Go Dolphins!
